| >HAPPENINGS & STUDENT LIFESTYLE |
While time travel is still far from becoming a reality, fashion design has the unique ability to transgress the passage of time, as ably demonstrated by a talented group of 22 PJCAD students who revisited the fashion of the 70’s.
Being born more than two decades later was clearly no obstacle in the quest to revisit the best of the era where Abba reined, and Disco’s first became popular; resulting in the emergence of A-Line Dresses, Bell-bottom Flares and jackets with details and tassels.

Armed with innovation, creativity and determination, the group of students presented a total of 22 retro-vintage designs at the 70’s Revival – Awe Sooky Sooky 2009 Fashion Show, which was held at MardiGras in One Utama. An eclectic mix of styles, each demonstrating unique interpretations of the 70’s hottest looks, were presented at the fashion show.
