Established in 1985, PJ College of Art & Design (PJCAD) is one of Malaysia’s leading private art and design institution. PJCAD prides
itself in being strongly industry-driven in
orientation and has achieved notable success in producing prominent competition award winners as well as practitioners in industry.
In line with the Malaysian government's aspiration of becoming a centre of academic excellence in the ASEAN region, PJCAD has begun concerted effort to establish itself as the college of choice for the region's international students wishing to study design and the creative disciplines.
Approximately 15% of our students are from countries such as Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and countries in the Middle East.
Mindful of the country’s
aspirations and its future
needs, PJCAD realises the need
to prepare for the creative economy,
where information will be as
essential to career success as
technical expertise and
business acumen. PJCAD aims to
smoothly make the transition to
more knowledge-based education
from its traditional technical base.
In 2005 PJCAD officially became
a member of the INTI Education Group, one of the largest
private education providers in
Malaysia with
branch campuses in many
Malaysian cities. It also operates
campuses in Jakarta, Indonesia
as well as Beijing and
Hong Kong in China.
2008 marked another milestone for PJCAD, as PJCAD together with its parent, INTI Education Group will now be a part of Laureate International Universities, one of the worlds’ largest tertiary education providers with an expanding worldwide network of 35 accredited universities and 100 campuses in 18 countries.
