English Improvement Program (EIP) @ PJCAD is a general English Proficiency Program designed for non-native speaking students who wish to improve their English language skills in order to prepare for their future study.
EIP @ PJCAD is a flexible, modular course of instruction covering three levels, taking learners from complete beginners' level to advanced level. It is an integrated package of English Language learning materials for students.
Students who sign up for this program will be assigned to the appropriate level on the basis of the results of an English placement test at the time of entry to the college. The program will cover 3 different degrees of intensity and depth in areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Students will practice and use English Language in the classroom. This program is the ideal course for students who want to achieve a globally-recognised certificate that proves their ability to use English for academic study in universities and colleges around the world.
Upon successful completion of each of the levels, students will be presented with a certificate of attendance. At the same time, students will also be prepared for the City & Guilds International ESOL examinations.
